Bar Loiter
Refined Neighbourhood Bar in Subiaco
Bar Loiter is a contemporary neighbourhood bar in the heart of Subiaco, designed to feel both intimate and vibrant, a place to pause, linger, and connect. Our design draws on the idea of loitering with intent, creating a space that encourages slow enjoyment and a sense of community.
Warm, Tactile Interiors
The palette is rich and layered, with warm timbers, deep tonal accents, and subtle metallic details that catch the light. Low, intimate lighting softens the atmosphere, while bespoke joinery frames the bar as the room’s central feature. Carefully chosen textures, from smooth stone counters to soft upholstered seating, deep green stone and Jarrah detailing, add depth and invite touch.
Flexible Social Spaces
Bar Loiter’s layout balances cosy corners for quiet conversations with more open, communal spaces that buzz during peak hours. The design ensures clear sight-lines to the bar while offering varied seating options, from banquettes and high stools to relaxed lounge settings.
A Bar with Personality
Details such as handmade tiles, curated art, and locally crafted furniture give Bar Loiter a unique identity. The intimate scale and warm acoustics make it feel personal, while the overall design maintains a level of sophistication suited to Subiaco’s evolving hospitality scene.
Bar Loiter is more than just a place for a drink, it’s a crafted social space that captures the charm of a small bar with the polish of a well-considered interior.
